Gratton DE45 1LN
Gratton Grange Farm Rustic Barn Venue featured on Hitched for just 2 years. The success was phenomenal we found ourselves turning bookings away. We limited weddings to just 7 per year. We discovered quickly that we could make a huge impact on the local economy and welcomed local grass route businesses to use our venue to flourish. We soon saw new ventures popping up and we openly encouraged others to do so. What impacted local accommodations was the lift in direct bookings rather than through booking agents. By removing booking agents the businesses income increased by a minimum of 13% up to 18% per booking, zero commissions paid to booking agents because of our wedding guests.
Our local economy relies upon tourism. During the winter months businesses see a drop in turn over. It is therefore vital we all look to the future and how we can generate income and a desirable place to live. In turn creating jobs and attracting more families to move to the local area keeping schools and churches open for future generations.
Our Rustic Barn Venue was sympathetic to its surroundings and all events were monitored using cctv and decibel readings. Creating low impact on our local environment. Environmental Health Officers visited the property to confirm zero concerns.
Our couples imagination when dressing the barn would frequently move us. No two weddings were the same. The wedding of Charlotte and Anthony became a national hit when one of their DIY wedding photographs made the Hitched blog for July 2018.
